More Than a Café—A Movement for Dignity
Qarma® Café is a mobile, community-powered food service operating in Taylor County, West Virginia. We’re not a charity, a food bank, or a traditional restaurant.
We’re something different: a pay-what-you-can café that brings fresh, nourishing meals directly to people who need them, without barriers, paperwork, or shame.
Founded: 2026: EATAVISION LLC (Low-Profit Limited Liability Company/L3C)
Service Area: Grafton and Taylor County, West Virginia
Food is a human right, not a privilege.
We believe that access to nutritious food shouldn’t depend on your income, your ZIP code, or your ability to navigate bureaucratic systems. We believe in meeting people where they are—literally and figuratively. And we believe that community takes care of community when given the chance.
Mobile Delivery:
We bring the food to you. Our traveling kitchen (the Qafe) rotates through neighborhoods, community centers, and gathering spaces across Taylor County.
Pay-What-You-Can:
Contribute what you’re able. Pay forward for someone else. Or simply receive what you need. Everyone is welcome. Always.
No Barriers:
No income verification. No proof of need. No applications. No questions. Just good food and human connection.
Community-Powered:
Local farms donate produce. Businesses contribute supplies. Neighbors volunteer. This isn’t one person feeding people—it’s all of us taking care of each other.
Dignity-Centered:
You’re not a recipient, a client, or a case number. You’re a neighbor. And neighbors eat together.
In our first year, we aim to serve 100,000+ meals to 500+ individuals across Taylor County. But our impact goes beyond numbers:
∙ Reducing food insecurity for families struggling to make ends meet
∙ Creating community connections in places where isolation is common
∙ Supporting local farms and businesses through partnership
∙ Demonstrating that sustainable, dignified food access is possible
Dignity — Everyone deserves respect, agency, and choice
Community — We’re stronger together than apart
Sustainability — Building something that lasts, not a temporary fix
Authenticity — Real food, real relationships, real impact
Innovation — Challenging outdated models of charity and service.

Hi, I’m Quynh (pronounced “Qwin”). I started Qarma® Café because I believe food is more than calories—it’s connection, dignity, and hope.
Why Qarma® Café?
I’ve seen what hunger does to people. Not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I’ve watched neighbors struggle to feed their kids while working full-time. I’ve seen seniors choose between medication and groceries. And I’ve witnessed the shame that comes with traditional food assistance programs—the proof-of-need forms, the judgment, the loss of agency.
I knew there had to be a better way.
The Heart of Qarma® Café
Qarma® Café runs on community power. Our volunteers show up week after week—chopping vegetables, serving meals, washing dishes, spreading the word—because they believe in what we’re doing.
Want to join the team? We’re always looking for passionate people who want to make a difference. Whether you have two hours a week or twenty, there’s a place for you here.
Volunteer with us!
